I watch as you walk,
Down untravelled paths
And walkways –
Swinging hips, to the rhythm,
Of some unknown tune.
In your steady stride –
You seem, unafraid
As worlds collapse,
And collide around you.
When you fall or falter,
You know I’m there,
Reaching out  a steadying hand,
Or dusting down, dirty knees.
