She touched my heart –
With her elongated silences.
Pauses precipitated speech,
Forcing me –
To confront myself.
She unravelled me –
Like old wool,
Until I became,
Threads and fibers.
In these quiet,
Unforseen, unexpected moments,
I am woven, stitched together,
By the loom of her love.

Later today Forgottenmeadows.wordpress.com will start a post, Poets for Peace with my poem, Give Me a Peace as the Kickstarter. Just post a poem about Peace in the comments of her post and she will compile all contributions. Spread the word with your platform. And thank you so much!

I don’t see it in the comments of her post, Kevin. You might want to give it another go. If you’re unable to, I will gladly paste your contribution into the comments and give Forgottenmeadows a link to your blog.
Thank you very much for joining us.
